Upon completion of his degree in 1990 at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Hall returned home to Pine Bluff to practice Optometry. Dr. Hall is a second-generation optometrist. He is a 1984 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and attended the University of Central Arkansas before entering Optometry school. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics while in Optometry school.

Dr. Hall’s primary objective is to provide first-rate visual health care to all of his patients. Dr. Hall continues to advance his knowledge of Optometry by regularly attending continuing education classes and seminars. Dr Hall is a member of the Arkansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Hall is married to Pam and they have one son Grant. He is an active member and deacon at First Baptist Church Pine Bluff. He is a member of the Pine Bluff Kiwanis Club. He enjoys outdoor sports such as boating, camping, and Razorback football!

Dr. Nelson V. Reid joined Hall Eyecare Associates in June 2003 after completing 24 years of private practice in Sheridan, Arkansas.

Dr. Reid graduated from Sheridan High School and went on to Hendrix College in Conway. He received his doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Reid is an avid cyclist and runner. He continues to participate in races throughout the country. He also enjoys singing, watersports, and hiking.

Hall Eyecare Associates is please to announce the association of Dr. Melinda S. Williams! Dr. Williams is originally from Junction City, AR and comes to Pine Bluff after practicing in the beautiful Arkansas town of Berryville. She is a 2007 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Williams has participated in numerous medical mission trips. Her most recent trip took her to Romania. Dr. Williams works in our Pine Bluff and our Warren location. Welcome Dr. Williams!!! We are glad you're here!

Christie has been with Hall Eyecare Associates since 1994. Christie is instrumental in all aspects of the office. Christie manages and supervises all of your insurance claims and billing as well as the front office staff. If you have a question about your insurance benefits, ask for Christie.

Hall Eyecare Associates is fortunate to have two highly qualified Opticians to assist you in your vision needs. Mike and Jim have over 18 years experience in the optical profession.

Hall Eyecare Associates has its own in-house laboratory.

Larisa's primary responsibility is to assist in the patient's visual care. She may conduct various tests which include measuring the curvature of the cornea, color testing, stereo-testing, taking acuitys, retinal and corneal photography, measuring the pressure of the eye, and determining the power of old and new eyeglass prescriptions.

The OCT instrument is our newest instrument. The OCT utilizes a technique called optical coherence tomography which creates images by use of special beams of light. The OCT machine can create a contour map of the optic nerve, optic cup and measure the retinal nerve fiber thickness. Over time these machines can detect loss of optic nerve fibers. This machine has become highly respected in the treatment of glaucoma.

Amy will greet you when you enter the office and take care of all of your preliminary paper work. She will verify your insurance information and answer any questions that you might have regarding deductibles and charges. Amy will be happy to work with you to schedule the most convenient time for your visual health examination. Bonnie has over 7 years experience in the optical business. Bonnie will go through the checkout procedure with you and explain your billing and insurance benefits. Bonnie will confirm your upcoming appointments and assist you with all of your scheduling needs. Call her today!

Mirenda will conduct all preliminary visual testing. She will conduct preliminary tests for glaucoma, visual acuity and case history. The doctor will have a variety of helpful information before he enters the exam room.

Dr. Hall is in our Warren office on Tuesday and Dr. Reid is there on Thursday. Joy manages the Warren clinic. She is in the office each day to provide our Warren patients a variety of services. Chelsea is the newest addition to our staff. Chelsea works in the Pine Bluff and the Warren office. She is from the Monticello area and we are glad to have her on our team!

Pam has been married to Dr. Hall for over 22 years. Pam is a former Business Education teacher and cheerleader sponsor at Pine Bluff High School. She manages the accounts payable and payroll section of the practice.
